MAGAZINE & JOURNALS
Cultural activities develop the personality of the students. These activities also improve skills such as time management, organizational presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication. So, throughout the year various cultural programmes are organized by the Cultural Committee as well as the Student’s Union.
Teachers from different departments take part in cultural activities and play an overall supervision of various cultural programmes. Celebration of different memorable dates like Independence Day, RabindraJayanti, BhasaDibas etc. are a common practice of our college. Interested students of different departments gather under the guidance of Cultural Subcommittee to pay homage to the martyrs of India’s Independence, or to memorize Rabindratath Tagore, NetajiSubhas Chandra Bose etc. Our Mother Tongue is also our mother. Students also dedicate themselves to their Mother tongue on BhasaDibash. The Cultural Sub Committee supervises the entire programme from starting to the end for smooth conduction of each one.
The Members of Students’ Union with other interested students in acquaintance with The College Authority and the Cultural Subcommittee celebrates Annual College Fresher’s Welcome, College Teachers’ Day Celebration and Saraswati Puja. Every year the college remains filled with vibrating, bright and smiling faces of young boys and girls on these days.
All the teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college are invited and requested to participate in different Cultural Programmes.
The college organizes a fest in association with its sister organizations at various places in Kolkata. The college fest is Lakshya.
